Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose is a polymer with the following main characteristics:
Solubility: Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose has good solubility in water and forms a transparent solution.

The preparation method of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose can generally be obtained through carboxymethylation reaction. First, cellulose is reacted with chloroacetaldehyde or formaldehyde, and then after appropriate neutralization and washing treatments, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose is obtained.
