Introduction to Lubrizol Series LZ2727 and LZ2820

The Lubrizol series products (LZ2727 and LZ2820) are high-performance compound additives commonly used in lubricating oils, diesel additives and emulsion explosives. They are based on polyisobutylene succinic anhydride (PIBSA) and are produced through reactions with polyamines or organic acids. They possess excellent extreme pressure performance, antioxidant properties and dispersion stability.

LZ2727 is usually a brown viscous liquid, mainly used to enhance the detergency and dispersibility of lubricating oil and fuel, reduce carbon deposits and wear, and improve the overall lubrication effect of the engine. It is widely used in the formulations of lubricating oil, gear oil and diesel detergents.

LZ2820 is also a brown liquid, but its formula incorporates multiple organic acids, making it more stable under high-temperature and extreme pressure conditions. Apart from the lubricating oil field, LZ2820 is also widely used in emulsion explosive systems as an emulsifier or stabilizer, which can significantly improve the uniformity and long-term storage stability of the emulsification system.

Overall, LZ2727 is suitable for applications that require a comprehensive balance between lubrication and cleaning effects, while LZ2820 is more inclined towards high-temperature, high-load or systems that require high interface stability.
